Gorge Canada Day Celebration 2018 Demonstration Complete

Every year, the Gorge has a very large and lively Canada Day celebration on July 1st. This year, Shoshinkai Victoria was able to demonstrate Iai to the general public and engage with the public regarding Iaido.

We spent an hour demonstrating various standing waza, and it was great to showcase our passion for Iai in front of the community. All practitioners fielded questions from interested audience members during breaks and after the demonstration. We look forward to more demonstrations with the gorge/tillicum community in the future, and to demonstrate our pride in Canada during our yearly celebration.
