2019 CIA Summer Seminar Complete!

The 2019 CIA Summer Seminar is complete, thank you to all who travelled to Victoria to make this a successful seminar.

The Vice President of ZNIR, Kato Sensei (ZNIR 10th Dan Hanshi), Tanida Sensei (ZNIR 10th Dan Hanshi), and Itoh Sensei (ZNIR 7th Dan), provided excellent instruction, and everyone who attended worked hard to improve their Iaido. Remember what you learned and apply it every practice from now on.

We are all very grateful and thankful to have such excellent instructors travel so far to Canada to teach us Iaido.

We have had requests from participants to not share the seminar group photo online. Should you wish for a digital copy of this year’s group photo and you were a practitioner this year, please contact us. For those who missed the group photo, please remember the group photo is taken on the last day of the seminar, in the morning.

Remember to listen to your Sensei’s instruction, and always be diligent in looking inward to your capabilities – always push yourself to be better than who you were before – never be satisfied with a dead waza.

Practice hard and write down what you learned this weekend! We look forward to seeing everyone again next year!
