Congratulations to Chris Tooley Sensei

The CIA is proud to announce that CIA Secretary Treasurer Chris Tooley sensei performed at the 25th All Japan Iaido Federation (ZNIR) Hamamatsu Iaido Tournament (第二十五回全日本居合道連盟競技大会) placing in the top 16 in the rokudan (6 Dan) division, and successfully attained the rank of ZNIR Renshi at the recent 25th All Japan Iaido Federation (ZNIR) Hamamatsu Dan Examination (第二十五回全日本居合道連盟称号段位審査会). The Tournament and the Dan Examination were held in Hamamatsu, Japan, in October, 2017.

There were more than 800 iaido practitioners attending the Hamamatsu Taikai this year. It’s an honour to be able to participate with so many ZNIR members.
