Eighty participants (69 from Canada and 11 from the USA) attended this seminar with Esaka Sensei. Thirty-one people passed their dan examinations (19 shodan, 10 ni dan, one san dan and one yondan). Congratulations to everyone who passed! Our membership now stands at 126 and we have awarded 230 dan certificates. Next year’s CIA 14th Annual Summer Seminar will be in Victoria, BC. Thanks to Hiro Sensei, Linda White and all the rest of the Vancouver club for hosting another very successful seminar
