Eric Dunning Sensei, Manager of General Affairs
Eric Dunning Sensei holds the rank of ZNIR 6th Dan, which he received in 2024.
Under the tutelage of Denton Hewgill Sensei, Takeji Itoh Sensei, and Chris Tooley Sensei, Eric Sensei started practicing Iaido in 2004 shortly after moving to Victoria. He has been interested in martial arts since a young age and has practised several different styles including Karate, Taekwondo and Aikido. Continuing to practice, Eric Sensei has achieved the rank of 5th Dan in 2018, taken on the role of CIA Manager of General Affairs and is now assisting in instruction for the Shoshinkai Victoria Dojo.
